FAQs

How do I benefit from outsourcing my cabinets instead of building them in-house?
Outsourcing your cabinets is like having a full shop of staffed workers only when you need them. You’re not paying employees for down time, and you’re not maintaining costly machinery and tools.

How do I place an order?
The easiest option is to use the Request an Estimate button in the top menu to place an order online. If you prefer to place your order by fax, you can download our order form here. You can also call us at (901)813-8413 ext. 1 if you have questions or would like to place your order by phone.

How long does it take to get a price quote on the estimate request that I submitted?
You will receive an email with your quote, including estimated shipping cost, within 24 hours. Print, sign and fax your quote to (901)465-8432. After we receive your confirmed order, we will email you an invoice for a 50% deposit will be required to put your order into production. Order balance to be paid prior to shipment of components unless terms have been established with your company.

Do you have a catalog?
You can view the types of cabinets we offer by clicking the Information & Instructions button in the top menu, which serves as our online catalog. If you are placing your order online, you will be guided through our available cabinet options. We don’t rely on price lists and upcharges to price a job. Each job is estimated by our software on a case by case basis in order to ensure that you recieve the best price available. The more cabinets there are on a job, the easier it is for the software to optimize material usage and reduce your overall cost. In effect, ordering only three of any one type of cabinet will generally cost more per cabinet than ordering twenty of the same cabinet.

How much do your cabinets cost?
We don’t have pre-set prices for our cabinets. Each order is priced at the time of your estimate request, so that we can optimize material usage for each job, which directly affects the price. There are no cataloged item numbers to sort through or hidden or confusing upcharges. Simply click on the Request an Estimate button in the top menu and follow the question and answer screens. It’s that simple.

Do you apply upcharges for custom sizes?
Larger cabinets require more material to build, which directly affects the cost. But generally, varying the sizes of your cabinets no more than a few inches will not affect the number of sheets of material needed to produce the cabinets. By using CNC nested based machining and optimization, we can reduce the amount of material waste significantly. This allows us to pass savings along to you without unneccessary upcharges, and offer you control over customizing your cabinet dimensions. With this method, you will not be limited to pre-set cabinet sizes in small increments. Basically we can give you the exact sizes you want every time.

What is the minimum order?
There is no minimum.

How do I assemble the boxes?
All cabinets are drilled for hardwood pre-glued dowels, which are factory inserted. You provide the final glue joint. Clamp time is 20-30 minutes. For detailed assembly instructions, click the Information & Instructions button in the top menu.

Do you provide hardware for the cabinets?
Our standard hardware is provided if checked on the order form. We use 100 lb full-extension ball bearing slides, 3” brushed chrome wire pulls, 110 totally concealed, self-closing euro hinges (press-in) & 5mm clear shelf pins. Specialty hardware is also available as requested.

Do you match grain on doors and drawer fronts?
Yes, we match grain as a standard procedure whenever grained material or laminate is used.

How do you ship orders/What does it cost?
We ship orders palletized via best freight carrier price at the time of order. A shipping estimate will be included in your job estimate.

How are the components organized on the pallets?
Components are randomly stacked to maximize space and shipping.

How do I sort the component parts?
Each part has a label indicating which part it is and to which cabinet it belongs.

Do you pre-assemble cabinets?
We generally ship your cabinets pre-doweled, flat stacked and unassembled. We can pre-assemble if required. Additional freight charges and conditions would apply.

What is the lead time for my order?
Lead times can vary and are quoted on a case by case basis. Non-standard materials and hardware can add to longer lead times. Generally most lead times are 8-10 business days from date of order confirmation.

Do you accept payment by credit card?
Advantage components accepts all major credit cards, as well as check or money order.
